CONNECTING WITHOUT A SERVER

One invitation. One response.

  1. A creates an invitation.

    Copy the invitation link and send it privately to B. Keep the original tab open.

  2. B applies it.

    Open or paste the invitation and click Apply link. Copy the generated response link back to A.

  3. A applies the response.

    Paste B’s response into the original tab and click Apply link. Compare the verification codes, then chat.

The links exchange temporary connection information, not file contents. No WebDrop pairing backend is used. Some restricted networks cannot establish a direct connection; try another network or a personal hotspot.

Receiving files in memory is limited to 128 MiB per file. Supported desktop browsers can stream to disk. Closing either tab ends the live connection; completed downloads stay on the receiver’s device.
